MAX INNOVATION Awards

The MAX Innovation (Marketing Awards for Excellence in Innovation) is Georgia's most prestigious marketing awards event. The awards will honor innovative new products, services, or marketing strategies developed or launched between 2022 and 2024 by companies either based in Georgia or with a significant presence in the state.

 

The net proceeds from the event are used to support the scholarship funds for the Outstanding Undergraduate Minority Students at Georgia State University.

Entries are judged by a panel of members on the GSU Marketing RoundTable (a group of CMOs and senior marketers from Georgia’s finest companies) on the criteria of Innovation, Activation, and Marketplace Success. ​

Judging Criteria

 

  1. Innovation

 

  • Describe your new, marketing-driven product/service/way to market and how it was innovative and differentiated from peers/competitors in the marketplace. Please provide links to relevant assets.

  • What was the key insight that informed your innovation?

     2. Activation

 

  • Describe the key components of your marketing strategy/plan to introduce the new product/service/way to market.

  • What, if anything, was cutting edge about the marketing channels, executions, strategy, etc. you used to launch your innovation? Did your activation leverage digital marketing, new technologies (e.g., XR, AI, GenAI) and/or garner notable social impact?

 

    3. Marketplace Success

 

  • What were the business objectives of your new product/service/way to market? Did your innovation meet these objectives?

  • What measurable success criteria did your innovation achieve? Did your innovation create a new segment or transform an established category? Did it advance the social impact of marketing? Please provide documented evidence of success where possible (e.g., sales/other financial results, market share, conversion data, brand perception, business efficiency, customer satisfaction, etc.)​​​

Early Bird Submission Deadline: December 20, 2024; Registration Fee: $100

 

Final Submission Deadline: January 14, 2025; Registration Fee: $150

Step 2: Upon completing the entry form, you will be asked to go to the secure online payment portal of Georgia State University Mall for online payment of the entry fee.

 

Step 3: Receive email confirmation of your entry submission from MAX Innovation.
